Handle With Care. |
New federal privacy regulations and recent information security breaches prompted one Fortune 500 financial services firm to ensure its 30,000 employees understood how to identify and handle sensitive company, customer and employee information. We advised the company on revisions to its information security policy and coordinated a companywide compliance campaign entitled “Handle with Care.” All managers received special kits including a policy overview brochure, employee presentation template, compliance checklist and instructions for auditing information handling practices and conducting employee education session. Within 60 days of campaign launch, all audits and meetings were completed and information handling procedures were tightened.
